Ledger and Shopify filed a data breach class action lawsuit last year.

Cryptocurrency wallet maker Ledger and e-commerce giant Shopify were sued last year for data breach, according to the Block report. This is the first lawsuit to be filed, and it was filed by law firm Roche Freedman, which filed the lawsuit in San Francisco on April 6, 2020. There were rumors according to which Ledger users had been targeted by phishing attacks in stores, and the company finally announced in June that the company's data had been compromised. Ledger and Shopify ultimately decided that the agent of the leak was a Shopify employee.
