Crypto wallet reseller Ledger and e-commerce giant Shopify were the subject of a class action lawsuit last year. This is the first lawsuit to be filed, and it was filed by law firm Roche Freedman, which filed the lawsuit in San Francisco on April 6, 2020. There were rumors according to which Ledger users had been targeted by phishing attacks in stores, and the company finally announced in June that the company's data had been compromised. Ledger and Shopify ultimately decided that the agent of the leak was a Shopify employee.
