Coinbase and Square join CCI to boost crypto lobbying.

According to the April 7 Cointelegraph, major players in the cryptocurrency space, such as Coinbase and Square, have joined forces to form the Cryptocurrency Innovation Council (CCI) to better communicate with policymakers and regulators in the management of crypto-currencies. Fidelity Digital Assets and cryptocurrency investment firm Paradigm also participated. According to a statement posted on the organization's website, CCI aims to facilitate dialogue with governments and regulators on the benefits of cryptocurrencies. As a recent cryptocurrency-centric lobbying firm, CCI works with organizations such as the Blockchain Association and the Coin Center to develop appropriate cryptocurrency policies.
