Blockchain Capital Company has sued Florida-based Blockchain Capital Management LLC (BCM) for venture capital using a similar name in the financial services industry, Coindesk announced Thursday. Blockchain Capital's grievance alleges that the alleged fraud could have caused controversy and public harm. Blockchain Capital wants to force the Florida Secretary of State to dissolve BCM or remove “Blockchain Capital” from its name. BCM founder Fareed Ifthikar said the lawsuit could not be settled because BCM is a dormant company with no intention of taking legal action.
