Telegram may terminate lawsuit over use of GRAM marks

On August 25, Decrypt announced that Telegram had dropped its lawsuit against cryptocurrency firm Lantah LLC over commercial rights to the Gram cryptocurrency, and that Telegram would pay legal fees. In July 2019, Telegram and Lantah LLC appeared in court for their right to use the symbolic name "GRAM".

BitGo CTO Ben Chan told CoinDesk on August 25 that digital trust company BitGo is working with community partners to create an Ethereum side chain as Ethereum prices rise. The first BitGo product, WBTC, was the ERC-20 token which traded 1: 1 with Bitcoin. Currently, the company has secured around 46,000 bitcoins, worth over $ 500 million, through its escrow service.
