Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino tweeted that Tether's USDT 1 billion migration from TRON protocol to ERC20 protocol is complete. Previously, Tether announced in the afternoon that it would work with a third party to move USDT 1 billion from TRON to the ERC20 protocol. During this trade, not all of the USDT material is traded. At 9:23 p.m. Beijing time on August 20, Tether added 1 billion USDT to the ERC20 channel network and at 10:20 p.m. Tether destroyed 1 billion TRC20 USDT in the TRON network.
