According to Cointelegraph, Latin American telecommunications company GoldConnect announced that its BitPay-linked LatamConnect platform will allow users to exchange cryptocurrencies for Bitcoin, Ether and other digital assets. Cryptocurrency payments through BitPay are known to require payment in local fiat currency.
