Volvo invests in blockchain startups to expand operational experience

According to Cointelegraph China News, Volvo Automobile Technology Fund has announced an investment in Circulor, a blockchain research feature that previously used Circulor's tracking solution to track cobalt in batteries. Martina Buchhauser, Volvo's chief purchasing officer, said that by supporting the further development of Circulor, it could expand the use of blockchain technology in its operations and help stabilize the industry. In the future, Volvo may consider using the Circulor solution to track carbon emissions.
