According to CoinDesk, the Brazilian central bank has postponed its target date for CBDCs by two years. According to the central bank, under current measures, the CBDC reporting criteria will be completed in two to three years. The governor of the Central Bank of Brazil said in September last year that Brazil would launch a digital bank in 2022.
