US Senator Proposes to Make Distributed Ledger Technology a "Core Technology Concentration"

According to CoinDesk, US Senator Cynthia Lummis wants the US government to focus on blockchain data distribution technology. Lummis cancels amendment that adds blockchain to "binocular politics". This change will create a new Office of Technology and Innovation and create ten “areas of focus” where new artists can measure and develop key strategies to address them. The bill will appear in the House on Wednesday, which means that the Senate and the Committee on Research and Transport will vote on the amendment and decide to submit it to the entire Senate for a vote.
