According to The Block, the FTX cryptocurrency exchange has hired Jonathan Cheesman, former head of overseas sales at HSBC, as head of retail and wholesale. FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried said the exchange is now calling more than 30 traditional financial institutions (including banks, payment processors, and hedge funds) to investigate for crypto products.
