According to official data, the US cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has confirmed the potential for further attacks against the Ledger hardware wallet. Kraken Security Labs, an exchange-sharing cybersecurity company, has discovered two new vulnerabilities that could affect the security of the Ledger Nano X wallet. These attacks process the wallet before the user receives it and can occur if the wallet is compromised in transit or purchased by a malicious seller. These attacks allow an attacker to take control of a computer connected to a wallet and install malware that can lead to the loss or theft of stored funds.
