Malaysian Energy Commission raids two cryptocurrency companies for power theft

According to Vernama, on July 8, the Malaysian Power Commission in Fort Klang (ST) and the State Electric Power Company (TNB) attacked two cryptocurrency companies accused of theft. The monthly loss of TNB due to electricity theft is around RM30,000. This case was investigated under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1990 which provides for a fine and imprisonment on conviction.
