According to Forbes, Alameda Research has invested $ 4 million in Coin98 Financial, the DeFi ecosystem in Southeast Asia. The deal highlights DeFi's growth across Asia. It fell below other major regions such as the United States and Europe last year. Alameda Research is a cryptocurrency trading company after the FTX exchange. Coin98 Financial is a Vietnam-based DeFi-based product development team. Coin98 Ventures, a venture capital firm, operates the largest cryptocurrency capital in Korea, jointly managing the Solana Foundation and the Solana Ecosystem Fund.
