According to BNN data, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has requested personal financial information from two executives of Ripple Labs investors. Ripple co-founder Christian Larsen and CEO Bradley Garlinghouse on Thursday questioned a federal judge to press charges against the bank, claiming eight years of necessary information. "All inappropriate behavior too." They say no one is accusing them of mixing their finances with Ripple's. They agreed to provide information on XRP exchanges and other rewards offered by Ripple, but the SEC "made it clear" that this was not enough. In a letter to the court, the two attorneys said they did not and could not provide a similar explanation as to why the SEC was entitled to receive this information. The SEC said it was ignoring both the legislation to treat cryptocurrencies as investment contracts and, therefore, securities. Christian Larsen and Bradley Garlinghouse are being sued for personal gain of around $ 600 million.
