According to News.Bitcoin, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced plans to increase international remittances and encourage the use of anti-money laundering rules. According to the CBN, known as the “dollar-naira exchange rate system,” a recipient of a global exchange rate can receive 1.2 cents (5 naira) for every currency they receive. Announcing the new measures, the CBN said it aims to "increase the repatriation of refugees to the country" and that the revival campaign will end on May 8.
