Solution developers to help Bitcoin Taproot streamline the process.

According to CoinDesk on March 9, Blockstream developer Russell OConnor came up with a solution called a "quick test" of how best to support updating Bitcoin Taproot. Reviews on GitHub show that currently 100% of developers have expressed support for the app. The "quick test" gives miners a three-month period to show whether or not they are ready, but in less time than other requests. Another important aspect of the project is that after a 3 month downtime there is a longer 6 month waiting period for Taproot to work.
