According to CoinDesk, Arthur Hayes, co-founder and former CEO of the cryptocurrency derivative exchange BitMEX, is currently in Singapore discussing a surrender and court appearance with the U.S. government. Prosecutors said Hayes could trust U.S. police on April 6. optional to stay in Singapore. The US Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against BitMEX parent company HDR Global and BitMEX founder Arthur Hayes in November last year for allegations of mismanagement and corruption.
