Mining company Aurum Capital Ventures USA (ACVU) sued member Markus Schneider in New York on Tuesday in a New York state stock, according to CoinDesk. Aurum previously claimed that in May 2020, Schneider agreed to use ACVU's 600 Bitmain S9 mining technology and that the owner agreed to waive some of the costs associated with the overload. Schneider has expressed interest in purchasing mining equipment and knows that negotiations took place after the lease was terminated in November of next year. Negotiations for a new contract have yet to materialize and Aurum has announced plans to withdraw supplies. Schneider denied the request, saying the two parties had agreed to purchase the equipment. In addition to finding salvage equipment, Aurum is seeking restrictions to prevent Schneider from moving, selling, or disposing of mining equipment while the case is still ongoing.
