Research: 270 crypto addresses were laundered $ 1.3 billion in illicit money last year

On February 11, Reuters reported that a Chainalysis study found that hackers had used a handful of cryptocurrency brokers and related services to launder hundreds of millions of dollars in illegal cryptocurrency. By 2020, 270 cryptocurrency sites laundered a total of $ 1.3 billion in illegal cryptocurrency, accounting for 55% of all cryptocurrency transactions.
