The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange announced on Tuesday that the announcement of Israel's first blockchain-based mortgage will take place. There is currently no central lending facility in the Israeli market. Currently, securities lending takes place within the limits of the bank using the interbank system, and in addition to the bank's restrictions if necessary. The new platform, launched on November 2, is based on distributed ledger technology (DLT). Supporting the direct borrowing of all major financial assets, it will work on more commercial products and shorter term operations.
