Polkadot Raises $43M in 72-Hour Private Sale

On July 27, CoinDesk announced that the second largest Polkadot (DOT) token sale was estimated by the Web3 Foundation and Parity Technologies at around 3,982.07 Bitcoin (BTC) or $43.3 million. The DOT fee for this exchange is $125 per token. According to public data, Polkadot's first payout in 2017 was around $35 per DOT, followed by the second payout in 2019, with plans to sell 500,000 DOT at an estimated cost of around $120 per DOT.
