On January 27, Bill Laboon, director of education at the Web3 Foundation, tweeted the impact of Project Polkadot that the Rococo-v1 branch has been updated and included with the new Rococo channel specification. Users running Rococo nodes will need to upgrade to the new version, drop the old database, and resynchronize the chain. News yesterday it was announced that the Rococo testnet will resume in 24 hours. Note: Restarting the Rococo test network is Polkadot's continued work to accelerate and balance the health of the Rococo network and help ensure a smooth Parachain connection.
