Cosmos reported DoS bugs affecting Stargate on releases, and the bugs have been fixed.

According to media reports, the developers of the cross-chain Cosmos project have released detailed information about the negative impact of denial of service (DoS) on the similarity of "Stargate". This negative affects not only Cosmos, but also Tendermint Core 0.34.0 and above. However, SDK v0.40.0 and Gaia v3.0.0 are currently not affected by the Cosmos Hub validator, and this bug has been fixed in Tendermint Core v0.34.3, Cosmos SDK v0.40.1 and Gaia. v3.0.1. Tendermint first detected a vulnerability on January 8, 2021, and after releasing patches and testing fixes, a second Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability was discovered on January 13, which fixes the current negative. The Cosmos Group had previously ordered the extension of the mainline switch "Stargate" until February 18, a month later than January 28.
