According to CoinDesk, Ernst & Young, the regulator of the Canadian cryptocurrency exchange QuadrigaCX, will appear in court on January 26 to discuss how to measure QuadrigaCX crypto assets. Ernst & Young believes that crypto assets should be settled as of April 15, 2019 (exchange rate date). The crypto startup BlockCAT affected by the QuadrigaCX disaster estimates that it should be worth it as early as February 5, 2019. The key date of the measure measures the impact on the value of the cryptocurrency and therefore the impact of merge borrower repayments into remaining assets.
