Since December, the number of holdings of at least 1,000 Bitcoins has increased by 7.2%.

On January 19, U.Today reported that Arcane Research, including data from Glassnode, indicated that the number of holdings of at least 1,000 bitcoins had increased 7.2% since December. Most of the first 100 addresses are dormant, so the Bitcoin of those addresses has not budged for many years. Arcane Research has also suggested that an increase in the number of whales could be indicative of a home purchase, but that does not determine whether the exchange will divide the wallet.
