The number of BTC bought from Grayscale last month was almost three times that of miners created at the same time.

According to the January 1 Cointelegraph report, data analyst Coin98 Analytics today pointed out that the number of Bitcoins purchased from Greyscale by December 2020 is almost three times the number of Bitcoins associated with the market month. Last month, Grayscale's assets under management (AUM) raised 72,950 BTC ($ 2.132 billion). At the same time, miners generated just 28,112 BTC ($ 821.7 million), accounting for 38.5% of gray purchases. This data describes what many call the constant shortage of Bitcoin resources.
