According to Coindesk, the deposit contract for Ethereum 2.0 is now valid. Deposit contracts serve as a bridge between the future Certificate of Financial (PoS) blockchain and the current Certificate of Purchase (PoW) with a market value of around $ 40 billion. ETH2.0 is scheduled to launch on January 3, 2021, the 12th anniversary of the Bitcoin network announcement. Additionally, according to data posted on Github by multi-user Ethereum testnet developer Afri Schoedon, the ETH2.0 release date is set for December 1.
