The MakerDAO community is taking action to prevent the use of loans to monitor elections.

The Cointelegraph announced on October 30 that the MakerDAO community has taken urgent action to prevent recurrence of voting by lending. The 12-hour interval between adoption and implementation of the agreement has been extended to 72 hours to allow the public to challenge the negative vote. The community can also intercept electricity bills, allowing management to end prediction and completion. This is because malicious hackers can compromise the estimates and kill the process to take advantage of the system. In the past, MakerDAO has cautioned against using DeFi Group B's flash libraries to regulate voting.
