According to a report by Block, public data from October 28 showed cryptocurrency lender BlockFi acquired a significant portion of Bitcoin Trust (GBC) from Grayscale. Lenders currently represent 5.07% of the investment portfolio, according to new data submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC requires companies to report a membership of 5% or more in other companies using Form 13-G. BlockFi data was signed on October 26 and announced that the Trust would acquire 24,235,578 shares on October 15. According to Grayscale's latest annual data, each share is worth 0.0001 BTC, which means BlockFi's purchases will be around 24,235.578 BTC. At current market value, it's worth around $ 328 million.
