According to CoinDesk News on July 17, the Samourai Wallet investigation found that none of the 13 bitcoins the hackers received on Twitter in protest on Wednesday had been laundered. Samourai said that hackers only use our Bitcoin address and do not send money through mixed services. It is understood that the thief's location has previously been used by BitMEX traders to move money in and out of the platform. However, BitMEX does not have strict identification rules for exchanges, for example KYC. BitMEX may therefore not be very efficient at finding hackers.
