On October 16, The Block announced that Sia blockchain developer Skynet Labs announced SkyDB, a new platform for developers to build social networking apps. According to the announcement, SkyDB will allow users to create distribution accounts, store data in those accounts, and access that data from anywhere. Users do not need to run special software to access files in a standard web browser.
