Gate.io started migrating YAM2 to YAMv3 services and using YAM as the symbol of YAMv3 industry.

According to the announcement, Gate.io announced that before 6:00 p.m. on September 19 (today), YAMV2 deposit and withdrawal services and services have been closed and the migration has started from YAMV2 to YAMv3 (symbol YAM). Once the migration is complete, payments, withdrawals, and YAM (YAMv3) transactions will open. Once the migration is complete, Gate.io will retain the YAMV2 currency and external users will be able to continue paying YAMV2 on the Gate.io platform for marketing. If the demand is high, Gate.io can come back to YAMv2 users. Note: YAM officially uses YAM as the symbol of the YAMv3 industry, so Gate.io initially changed the first version of YAM to YAMV1, then migrated YAM using YAMv3 to exchange symbols.
