Research Report: The recent emergence of crown pneumonia has had a huge impact on Japanese investors in the cryptocurrency space.

According to CoinDesk, the Japanese cryptocurrency exchange BitFlyer surveyed Japanese consumers who opened their accounts in January and July of this year, and a total of 539 participants. The number of new users in their 20s has doubled from the 2018 survey, and only 18% of respondents participated in this age group. On the flip side, the percentage of respondents in their 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s has all declined from two years ago. BitFlyer's COO Kenichi Nishimura believes the emergence of new lung infections is one reason investors are stepping up. He said young entrepreneurs were looking for alternatives to traditional products after the global commodity market fell. BitFlyer said the largest user group in Japan and abroad is still the 30-39 age group.
