On September 6, Newslogical reported that Colombian police had started working to alert the country that crooks were using bitcoin to defraud people and sought the support of President Ivan Duque. According to the crooks, President Duque created a platform called "Bitcoin Age" to sign the "deal of the century" which allowed Colombians to make money in cryptocurrency. In response, police said the Bitcoin-centric investment solution for COVID-19 financial interference was fraudulent and had not been approved by the Colombian president.
