According to the Nikkei News on September 2, Japanese internet financial giant SBI Holdings is planning to build a blockchain-based digital goods marketplace. Yoshitaka Kitao, chairman of SBI Holdings, said he plans to build a new global financial center in partnership with Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The new global financial center will be located in the Osaka and Kobe regions. SBI plans to introduce blockchain-based digital trading to attract financial firms from around the world.
