Brazil's CFO Roberto Campos Netu said on Wednesday that he expects Brazil to adopt digital currency banking (CBDC) by 2022, according to CoinDesk for September. He added that by then, Brazil would have experienced a combination of immediate payments and "trustworthy" and "switchable" international currencies.
