ETC lead developers are meeting on August 29 at 00:00 Beijing time to discuss two concepts, ECIP-1049 and ECIP-1095. Note: ECIP-1049 requests to change ETC's Pow proof algorithm from Ethash to Keccak256, and ECIP-1095 offers to upgrade it to Sha-3.
