On August 21, Coindesk announced that U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer would receive free cryptocurrency when he stood for re-election. Tom Emmer announced Thursday that BitPay will do everything for free. Donors can donate to BitPay through any of the eight cryptocurrencies supported by BitPay, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Gemini’s USD Stabilitycoin, and Circle’s USDC.
