As of January 23, Pantera Capital Management, a once capitalized financial firm that was however a macro bet, managed to manage $5.6 billion in crypto assets over the previous year. The company also returned $6 billion to investors. Meanwhile, the Pantera Bitcoin Fund has rebounded over 65,000% since 2013. Pantera is not just a bitcoin bet. Investment funds invest in companies that support the cryptocurrency ecosystem, such as exchanges such as FTX, Coinbase, and Gemini, and token investments in blockchain developers. Recently, Pantera has focused on the DeFi site. Along with the performance of the Pantera Bitcoin Fund, venture capital funds launched in 2013 also achieved a 51% rate of return, while Pantera's Liquid Token Fund grew 385% in 2021 alone. The company was managing about $5.6 billion at the start of the year, with fourth-quarter profits up $600 million in November. This was dropped by Pantera management at $6.4 billion in late November. CICC Macro: The long-term impact of Fed tightening on US commodities is unpredictable.
On January 23, the CICC macro announced that US commodities had lagged monetary policy tightening and should not be tightened, often referred to as the “Fed put”. This time, however, it looks like the Fed has set a higher starting point for the market “below”. Easy to tighten. US CPI inflation hit 7% and the Fed has nowhere to go with austerity. It is unrealistic to expect the Fed to release policy any time soon. This explains why the hunter did not appear after many traders tried to buy the drop last week. Given this, the impact of the Fed's tightening policy on US commodities cannot be underestimated. (ten gold)
