According to Glassnode data from January 21, the number of addresses holding more than 0.01 BTC on the Bitcoin network now stands at 9,444,449, an all-time high.

On January 21, Bitcoin mining company Core Scientific listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange on January 20, with commodities and collateral “CORZ” and “CORZW” respectively. Previously, Core Scientific entered into a joint venture with Power & Digital Infrastructure Acquisition Corp. ("XPDI") by PSPC. Core Scientific is a carbon-neutral blockchain infrastructure resource provider, with over 50% of its electricity considered non-carbon by local suppliers. In 2021, the company announced the mining of around 67,000 ASIC miners with a calculated power of 6.6 EH/s. In addition to bitcoin mining, Core Scientific earns up to half of its revenue by providing bitcoin mining services and mining infrastructure setup services to other miners. The company is known to mine over 80,000 ASIC miners (6.9 EH/s) for customers. At the end of last year, the total energy metering reached 13.5EH/s. Core Scientific has over 5,300 Bitcoins on its balance sheet. (Coin spread)
