On Jan. 21, Intel pledged $20 billion to build its headquarters in the Columbus suburb of New Albany, Ohio. Intel plans to build at least two semiconductor factories here that will employ at least 3,000 people, with one factory starting this year and operational by 2025. (New York Times)
