Bank Alfalah, a major Pakistani bank, is known to have started sending SMS alerts to customers asking them not to use their bank accounts for cryptocurrency transactions. The bank's decision comes shortly after the Central Bank of Pakistan sent a notice to the High Court of Sindh approving all bans on cryptocurrencies. Founded in 1992, Bank Alfalah is one of Pakistan's largest banks, with over 800 ATMs and branches in over 200 cities across the country. Owned and operated by Abu Dhabi Group, an international bank operating in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates. (Bitcoin.com)
