The International Settlement Bank has chosen Raphael Auer as director of the Euro Zone Innovation Center.

The Bank of International Conferences (BIS) announced on January 7 that it had selected CBDC expert Rafael Auer as director of the Euro Zone Innovation Center. Raphael Auer is currently CFO of the Innovation and Digital Economy Division of the Monetary and Economics Division of the Bank for International Settlements. He will start a new job in February. The BIS Innovation Center Eurosystem Center is expected to open in the first half of this year, joining existing facilities in Hong Kong, London and Switzerland. (Parts office)
