On January 7, Eggschain, a bitcoin-based genetic data tracking system, announced a partnership with Boston IVF, a group of 30 fertility clinics in Boston, United States. The new partnership will use the blockchain technology used by EggChain to track sperm stored in IVF and other medical fertilization and infertility procedures and promote long-term storage of genetic information.
