On December 29, Musk said in an interview with podcaster Lex Fridman himself that he had a clear understanding of what is involved in the industry in general, but not a full understanding of the Ethereum smart contract. Additionally, although Elon Musk does not know who Satoshi Nakamoto is, he believes that Nick Sabo, the creator of Bit Gold and digital smart contracts, has a "bigger role" in the exchange of Bitcoin ideas, despite Nick Sabo's own claims.
