According to the Ethereum-based DeFi craze showing no signs of slowing down, Coindesk announced that since Sunday 1,043 more bitcoins have been tokenized than miners mined. According to the latest statistics from Dune Analytics, nearly 31,000 Bitcoins have been tokenized by Ethereum, of which 75% were provided by WBTC. The supply of bitcoins symbolized by Ethereum hovered below 3,000 before the wave of new coins in mid-May. Bitcoin's tokenization speed indicates that there is a demand for Bitcoin on the Ethereum-based DeFi application network. Kyle Davies, Co-Founder of Three Arrows Capital, said: "WBTC will continue to grow as DeFi's demand for Bitcoin explodes, and we hope this trend continues."
