UNICEF announced Ethereum's NFTs, and presentation proceeds will help schools connect to the internet

On December 11, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced today that it is announcing Ethereum's NFTs to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. UNICEF has announced that the NFT exhibit, titled Patchwork Kingdoms, curated by digital artist and data scientist Nadieh Bremer, will open in January 2022. Proceeds from the exhibit will be used to support a wide range of projects foundation, including Project Giga, which provides funds to provide Internet access to children around the world. The "Patchwork Kingdoms" series was developed in collaboration with Snowcrash Labs, Ethereum Foundation, Metagood and more and has 1000 NFTs. To highlight the importance of giga, UNICEF says each NFT uses data collected from its services from 282,000 schools in 21 countries. (decryption)
