Universal Music Group and Avatar Tech Company Geniz Sign Agreement

Golden Financial reports that Universal Music Group (UMG) has teamed up with avatar tech company Genie. Before that, some artists, including Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber, used Genies to create their own avatars. The other members of the label (Rihanna, Migos, etc.) can now also move their avatars in the "world of digital transformation". Geniz's goal is to build a mature business where fans can buy and sell NFT products that can be worn across multiple meta-worlds. The store is expected to be announced in the coming months and will be developed by Dapper Labs' Flow blockchain.
