Kickstarter launches blockchain-based crowdfunding project at Celo

According to official data, Kickstarter said in a blog post on Wednesday that Kickstarter was developing a new business to build on the Cello blockchain. Kickstarter has announced that it is developing an open source system that designs distribution models for the platform's key activities to achieve its goal of involving more people in existing projects. The contract is based on the Celo carbon-negative blockchain platform, which crowdfunding partners, contributors and competitors can create and implement. The New York-based Kickstarter said, “We chose Celo to reduce our environmental impact (and focus on global access via mobile blockchain access). The site has been redesigned and the company is setting up a management laboratory headed by Camille Canon, co-founder and recently President of the Mission Foundation, to oversee the site's development protocol (Coindesk).
